The New Star International Property Fund is an external fund managed by New Star which Standard Life International customers can invest in through the International Bond.

On 25 November 2008, New Star suspended all dealings in the New Star International Property Fund and introduced a queuing system for withdrawals and switches from the fund.

As a result, customers who wished to switch or transfer out of the New Star International Property Fund, had their request placed in a queue to be processed after New Star released funds to us.

From February 2010, New Star has lifted the suspension on the New Star International Property Fund.

How does this affect customers who are invested in the fund?
Any new and currently queued withdrawal or switch request from this fund will be processed as soon as possible.
